On September 27, 2018, the ASEAN SPOT event was held at the Prof. Dr. Djajusman Auditorium and Performance Hall, LSPR-Jakarta. It was the first event aimed to establish a platform for students to know a nature of a tourism in the ASEAN region.

There were three speakers talked about traveling. Sufintri Rahayu, a PR Director of Traveloka,  said that at that time travelers did not need to go to agencies because they could choose their accommodation and transportation on their own.
Traveloka is a platform that people can use to find the accommodation and transportation for the affordable prices.
